| Dinniman Announces $1.2 Million in Conservation Grants |
CONTACT: MARTIN INDARS December 5, 2007 WEST CHESTER - State Senator Andy Dinniman announced Wednesday that $1,225,400 has been awarded to local municipalities and land trusts for the development of park and conservation projects. “The funding will preserve valuable land in Chester County,” Dinniman said. “I am pleased that the state is working to ensure protection of our precious natural resources.” The grants are as follows:
The funding will serve for watershed, woodland and natural habitat protection, open space, passive recreation, trail linkage and more.
