Lionville Earth DayDinniman Visits Lionville Earth Day

State Senator Andy Dinniman joined volunteers at the annual Lionville Youth Association Earth Day cleanup held recently at Lionville Park. Dinniman helped students from Lionville Middle School's "Phoenix Team" clean up the park and plant flowers in preparation for the little league's opening day.

"Young volunteers, like these sixth graders from Lionville Middle School, have always been a great source of strength for our community organizations. They really do take pride in their work," Dinniman said. "That is why I make it a point to come out here and recognize our young people. I think it is important to thank them, encourage them and instill these values in Pennsylvania's future."

Dinniman has long been a supporter of the LYA. Last year, he secured $20,000 in state funds through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for LYA field improvements.
