SAFE HARBOR TO PRESENT SECOND ANNUAL“SENATOR ANDREW DINNIMAN AWARD” Serving the 19th Senatorial District CONTACT: ADAM CIRUCCI WEST CHESTER - Safe Harbor of Greater West Chester will announce the winner of its second annual Senator Andrew Dinniman Award at its fundraising dinner set for April 26 at the Atrium at QVC Studio Park. “I was honored when this award was established in my name and I am proud to share that honor with some of the countless volunteers who have supported the shelter over the years,” Dinniman said. “The idea started simply as providing warm beds for those with no place to call home, but the community worked together to make Safe Harbor so much more.” The award is given each year to an individual who displays a deep commitment to furthering the organization’s mission. Safe Harbor of Greater West Chester is a nonprofit organization that offers food, shelter, counseling and recovery opportunities to homeless men and women in Chester County. Safe Harbor operates an emergency shelter for people who, due to addictions or mental health issues, do not qualify for other area shelter programs. “Safe Harbor opens doors and opportunities for those who otherwise would have nowhere else to turn,” Senator Dinniman added. “I encourage people to come out on April 26 and support its very important mission.” For tickets or more information contact Safe Harbor at (610) 692-6550. ###
