Dinniman Honors Chester County Sheriff, Deputies FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: ADAM CIRUCCI WEST CHESTER – State Senator Andy Dinniman recognized Chester County Sheriff Carolyn “Bunny” Welsh and her deputies Thursday for receiving the 2008 Crime Prevention Office of the Sheriff Award from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. Dinniman presented Sheriff Welsh with a Senate citation and thanked members of her department for their service and dedication. “Sheriff Welsh and her deputies have shown just how important they are to crime prevention efforts. They have truly done a tremendous job in developing a community-based approach that keeps kids and families safe,” Dinniman said. The Chester County Sheriff’s Office was selected out of all 67 sheriff’s offices in the Commonwealth.
