WEST CHESTER (January 15) - State Senator Andy Dinniman recently visited Phoenixville Area High School to commend student members of Teens Against Tobacco Use for their efforts against teen smoking.

“I want to applaud the members of Teens Against Tobacco Use for having the courage to stand up and speak out against tobacco abuse among their peers,” Dinniman said. “It’s also great to see young people learning how they can change their communities for the better through advocacy efforts like this one.

Dinniman talked to students about advocacy activities that promote tobacco-free environments. He also discussed Pennsylvania’s recently enacted Clean Air Act and the challenges ahead in ensuring that everyone has a right to breathe clean, smoke-free air.
