Dinniman Announces $850K For Chester County Airport
HARRISBURG (May 29, 2018) – State Senator Andy Dinniman announced that the Chester County G.O. Carlson Airport will receive $850,000 in state funding for a new hangar apron and new hangar facilities.
“Investments in our aviation infrastructure will help support commerce, boost our economy, and bolster our workforce,” Dinniman said.
The funding comes through Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Aviation Transportation Assistance Program. The hangar projects are expected to cost more than $1.6 million in total.
The Chester County G.O. Carlson Airport project is part of 17 projects across the Commonwealth that will receive $9.8 million in total funding through the Aviation Transportation Assistance Program.
