WEST CHESTER (February 28) – State Senator Andy Dinniman reminded residents to take a few moments to prepare for potential winter weather emergencies as the Chester County region is expected to see yet another major winter storm from Sunday, March 2 to Monday, March 3.
“Our region has already experienced several major winter storms this season and its looks like more is on the way,” Dinniman said. “The best way to stay safe is by being prepared.”
Dinniman encouraged residents and their families to review the Pennsylvania Emergency Preparedness Guide to prepare for a potential emergency.
In addition, he said that residents should report power outages directly to PECO at 1-800-841-4141.
“Weather forecasters are predicting bitter cold for this weekend followed by significant snowfall and freezing rain from Sunday into Monday. In case of emergencies, please stay tuned to my web site and Facebook page for regular updates,” Dinniman said. “We can get through this by being prepared and working together. And if you have elderly neighbors or those with special needs, please take some time to check on them.”
