Dinniman: Brandywine Grange Raises $1,000 for Coatesville Police
On February 14, 2018
WEST CHESTER (February 14, 2018) – State Senator Andy Dinniman and fellow members of the Brandywine Grange #60 recently raised $1,000 for the Coatesville Police Department to be used for bulletproof vests for officers.
Dinniman and Grange members presented the check to Coatesville Police Chief Jack Laufer.
“This is our small way of saying thank you,” Marie Leach, Grange Master, said. “All of the members of our Grange support our police and the great work they do.”
Dinniman, a member of the Grange, called the donation a great way to show the organization’s respect and appreciation of law enforcement.
“Our police officers and law enforcement personnel do not have an easy job,” Dinniman said. “They have a duty to protect our communities, families, and children at all hours of the day and night. In turn, members of the Grange felt they had an obligation to do what they could to ensure that our police have the latest tools and gear to stay safe while on the job.”
