Dinniman Recognizes Eagle Scouts, Honors Troop on 90th Anniversary
WEST CHESTER (June 19, 2017) – State Senator Andy Dinniman recently recognized 5 members of the Boy Scouts of America’s Troop 50 of Devon – a troop that is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year – on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

“It’s always an inspiring and invigorating experience to meet and talk with young people who are just on the cusp of their adult lives yet have already achieved so much success,” Dinniman said. “Becoming an Eagle Scout is a lot of work, but these young men are engaged in their communities, are civic-minded and embody the spirit of service and volunteerism. And they are now part of a long and rich legacy – Troop 50 has graduated more than 350 Eagle Scouts since it was founded in 1927.”
Dinniman congratulated the Scouts and thanked them for their service to the community during their recent visit to his West Chester district office. He also presented each of the Scouts with a special Senate citation in honor of their accomplishments.
