Dinniman to Hold January 14th Telephone Town Hall Meeting
WEST CHESTER (January 12) – State Senator Andy Dinniman announced that he will hold a live telephone town hall meeting for constituents on Thursday, January 14 at 7 p.m.
The meeting will focus on local and state issues, as well as legislation and the state budget. However, questions and comments on any number of other topics will be accepted
*New Feature: In addition to calling in, residents have the option of listening to the meeting live on smartphones, tablets and computers here. Participants can also submit questions live at the link and take part in the poll question.
Those who haven’t already signed up for the Telephone Town Hall can also participate by calling 877-229-8493 and entering PIN # 112765 at 7 p.m.
“These telephone town halls are a great way for me to keep in touch with you and the issues that are important to you,” Dinniman said. “I expect to spend a good amount of time on Thursday evening discussing the budget and the need for new legislation to prevent future budget impasses. But the questions come from you, so I encourage you to take part and make your voice heard.”
At the time of the meeting, constituents will receive a phone call on their land lines with instructions on how to participate. Dinniman will discuss key state and local issues affecting Chester County and answer constituents’ questions live.
“You simply need to answer the call to participate in the conversation. You will then be connected and receive information on how to take part in the town hall,” Dinniman said. “In the meantime, I encourage you to ensure you are on the list of participants by signing up here and invite you to submit questions ahead of time.”
“Please make sure you are on the list of participants and don’t forget to answer your phone on January 14. I look forward to talking with you and answering any questions you may have because the best feedback I get comes from you – the people of Chester County,” Dinniman said.
