Over the past several months you have contacted my office with questions or comments. I appreciated hearing from you and would like to wish you and your family Happy Holidays and all the best for a healthy and prosperous New Year.
I want to remind you that my West Chester District Office continues to serve as a year-round collection point for canned goods, nonperishable food items and gift cards to local supermarkets for those in need. The office, located at historic One North Church Street, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please be sure to check expiration dates on food items. All donations will go to the West Chester Food Cupboard and the Salvation Army of West Chester.
You are also welcome join us for an Open House during the West Chester Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade, this Friday, December 2 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In addition to an ideal location for parade viewing, our event will feature old-fashioned refreshments and a performance by the Chancel Ringers of West Chester First Presbyterian Church from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
I encourage you to stop by and donate just a few canned goods or a gift card to ensure that none of our neighbors go hungry this season.
In these challenging economic times, it is crucial that we continue to step forward and answer the call of those in need, especially during the holiday season. Your assistance could be the difference in making a local family’s holiday special.
Thank you, and I hope to see you on Friday,
State Senator - 19th District
