Dear Friend,

Bring Your Dog to Harrisburg Rally Bring Your Dog to Harrisburg Rally I want to remind you about the Bring Your Dog to Harrisburg Rally set for Tuesday, October 22 on the front steps of the Pennsylvania Capitol.

I encourage you and your dog to join us in standing up for the humane treatment of animals and in calling for tougher penalties for animal cruelty.

The event will begin with a press conference at 11 a.m. where Senator Rich Alloway II and I will announce a bipartisan package of legislation to protect pets.

In case of inclement weather, the press conference will be held in the Capitol Media Center. The Bring Your Dog to Harrisburg Rally will be held on the steps of the Capitol, beginning at 11:30 a.m., rain or shine.

Members of the public who attend the rally should keep all dogs leashed and make sure their dog licenses are up to date. Please bring adequate food, water and waste disposal supplies for your pets. Participants should also keep in mind that dogs are not allowed in the Capitol Building.

The rally will take place on the main steps of the Capitol at 501 North Third Street. Directions as well as travel and parking information are available at

I hope to see you there.
