Dear Friend,

Senator DinnimanYou may be aware of my ongoing battle against the proliferation of excessive and expensive standardized testing, including the Keystone Exams, in Pennsylvania schools.

Please know that this Friday, June 2, at 12:30 p.m. the Senate Education Committee will hold a committee hearing on the Keystones at West Chester University’s Business and Public Management Center (Room 101) located at 50 Sharpless Street in West Chester.

The purpose of this hearing is to examine the value of the Keystone Exams as a graduation requirement and the need to replace these exams with more appropriate and cost-effective assessments such as the PSAT and SAT exams.

The meeting is open the public. We plan to have it livestreamed at www.pasenate.com.

Sincerely,

Andy Dinniman
