WEST CHESTER (August 6) – State Senator Andy Dinniman has announced that five pre-kindergarten programs in Chester County will together receive more than $800,000 in state funding to continue preparing 3- and 4-year-olds for school. Pennsylvania’s Pre-K Counts program provides early-childhood education to those at risk of facing academic challenges due to socioeconomic status, developmental delays or disabilities.
