PAOLI (November 27, 2019) – State Senator Andy Dinniman recently visited Daylesford Crossing Senior Center to recognize residents who have reached 90 years of age or older with special Senatorial Certificates of Recognition.
“I always appreciate the chance to meet and talk with our senior citizens. Their stories, compassion for the community, and lively opinions are always a pleasure to listen to,” Dinniman said. “Especially as we approach the winter Holiday season, it’s important to recognize, value, and reach out to our seniors, as they deserve to experience the joys of the season.”
Since taking office, Dinniman has visited senior centers and senior living communities throughout the region to offer birthday wishes to almost 1,000 seniors each year who are part of his 90+ Birthday Program. Under the program, area seniors 90 years and older receive special certificates on their birthdays.
Dinniman said the 90+ Birthday Program is part of his effort to not only recognize the vast contributions of the senior community but also to ensure that local seniors are receiving all the support and services Pennsylvania has to offer, from tax rebates to medical assistance.
