Dear Friend,

It’s been a very busy week in Chester County. Here are some of the highlights:

Election Results

2019 Election Results - Voter turnout dramatically increased on Tuesday. Nearly 40 percent of registered voters in Chester County cast ballots – a 13 percent increase over 2015, the last time these seats were up. Thank you to all who came out and those who worked the polls. Results.

Road Repaving

Road Repaving – PennDOT plans to repave more than 140 miles of state roadway in Chester County over the next five years. I’m committed to working to help ensure that those projects in need of immediate repair get completed quickly, keeping the long-term vision and five-year plan on or ahead of schedule. More.

Sen. Dinniman Calls for an End to Bullying :: October 29, 2019

Stop Bullying in Pennsylvania – I stood with middle school students from across the state to support and discuss strategies to end bullying in our schools. Too many of our young people have had their lives negatively impacted and upended by bullying and cyber-bullying. The key is to start with students to change the culture of bullying in our schools. Watch.

Senator Dinniman and Heather Mitts

Veterans Day – I recently honored our veterans and highlighted the contributions of our women in the military at a veterans luncheon at the Kennett Area Senior Center. In addition, I’ll be participating in Veterans Day events around Chester County this weekend, including the West Chester Veterans Day Parade on Sunday and Community Volunteers in Medicine is holding a free dental clinic for veterans on Monday.
