WEST CHESTER (November 9, 2020) – State Senator Andy Dinniman has launched a new weekly podcast, “Andy’s Keystone Chats,” detailing and discussing a range of issues focused on Pennsylvania legislation and policy.
The podcast, which aired its first episode last week, aims to shed light on community issues, state legislative news, and current affairs with Dinniman’s insight and unique brand of wit and wisdom.
“The podcast will provide a closer, behind-the-scenes look at paradigm shifts and changes in state policy and beyond. We’re going to talk about everything, from how government operates to how we prepare for the future to how citizens can have a louder voice in the democratic process,” Dinniman said. “I hope you’ll consider tuning in and I can’t wait for our listeners to become part of the discussion.”
Dinniman plans to add interactive aspects to the podcast, encouraging listeners to submit questions, respond to his ideas, and eventually invite guests to speak on various topics pertinent to the Commonwealth.
The first episode of “Andy’s Keystone Chats” focuses on education, the inequities made apparent by the COVID pandemic, and potential legislation that could shape the future of education on all levels. The second episode focuses on changes to workforce development in preparing to meet the challenges of the new economy.
Future episodes will focus on a range of topics, from animal rights advocacy to election reform. As well as these, Dinniman hopes to return to previously discussed topics to provide updates and allow for listeners and guests to chime in with their thoughts as well.
“It’s about collaboration, and my goals with this podcast are about creating a community of compassionate, understanding listeners,” Dinniman said. “In the end, I want people to learn from my decades of experience, and I want to learn from theirs.”
Dinniman said he hopes the podcast will provide the means to continue the community dialogue that he has initiated for more than 14 years as your state Senator.
